Piloting this ship is a great way to quickly travel around the island or take down enemy players. It’s a pretty powerful vehicle you need for various tasks, so here’s how to find and use TIE Fighters in Fortnite.

Where to find TIE Fighters in Fortnite Star Wars Galactic Battle
TIE Fighters are generally found around locations that belong to the Empire, like near the First Order Base and Vader’s Samurai Solitude. For the most part, TIE Fighters don’t appear at the same spots in every match, so how easy or difficult it is to find one is generally unpredictable and based on luck.
TIE Fighter locations in Fortnite Star Wars Galactic Battle
Most TIE Fighter locations are random and vary in each match. However, there are two fixed spots where TIE Fighters always seem to spawn based on our tests.
- In the forest east of the Resistance Base and south of Flooded Frogs. This TIE Fighter is part of a repeatable story quest that tasks you with gathering fuel to fix it up. You can tackle this quest repeatedly in any match to fix up and fly a TIE Fighter. It’s guaranteed to be available in each round, but it takes a bit of work to unlock it.
- Near the east end of Vader’s Samurai Solitude. There’s only one TIE Fighter at this vast location, so you need to act fast if you want to grab it. This one also appears to be present in every round, as it seems to be Darth Vader’s own personal ship.
Other locations you can check for TIE Fighters include the First Order Base, the snowy mountains around the First Order Base, near Crime City, and around Vader’s Samurai Solitude. None of these other locations is guaranteed to have one, but TIE Fighters do have a chance to appear around all of them.
How to use a TIE Fighter in Fortnite Star Wars Galactic Battle
TIE Fighters are a two-person ship you can either fly or ride on top of. The specific controls you need to pilot this vehicle vary by platform, but are always displayed near the bottom left corner of the screen while you’re riding in one. We’ve also listed the controls here if you want to familiarize yourself with this ship before you start flying.
