New characters and weapons
Version 5.6 will release Escoffier and Ifa as playable characters. During the livestream, the officials will reveal their abilities and showcase their gameplay. According to the beta leaks, Escoffier is expected to be a powerful sub-DPS and support Hybrid unit that excels in Cryo and Hydro teams. Meanwhile, Ifa is rumored to be an Anemo healer with decent exploration abilities.
The livestream will also reveal new weapons that will be available in version 5.6. This includes the free event weapon and Escoffier’s new signature weapon.

Interestingly, the key visual of the version 5.6 livestream also features familiar characters from the nation of Freedom, such as Venti, Jean, Albedo, and Kaeya. New enemies
Version 5.6 is also expected to release two new enemies. One is a normal world boss that will drop ascension materials for Escoffier, and the other is a weekly boss connected to the new Mondstadt quest.
