How to get all Contrary Perfume ingredients in Disney Dreamlight Valley

There are four ingredients you need to find around the Alice in Wonderland Realm to make the Contrary Perfume. All of these items require you to find the right spot and complete an additional task to earn them.

• The Jar of Heart Candies can be fished out of a pond.
• The Bags of Discontented Seeds can be picked up from the singing flowers.
• The Blue Mushroom is hidden inside a large, sad blue mushroom.
• The Wonderland Plaque is being held by a Pencil Bird perched on a stack of books.

Fish for a Jar of Hearts in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The first ingredient you need to find is a Jar of Hearts, which is in the pond right by the entrance to the Alice in Wonderland Realm. Head to the entrance and look for a gold bubble spot in front of the rocks by the waterfall. Equip your Royal Fishing Rod to get it.

Talk to the Cheshire Cat at his tree after you obtain the Jar of Heart Candies. He tells you to talk with the singing flowers to find the next item you need, which is Bags of Discontented Seeds.

Talk to the Matriarch of the singing flowers for Bags of Discontented Seeds in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Find the Matriarch of the singing flowers in the middle region of the Wonderland Realm to grab the Bags of Discontented Seeds. To reach this area, start at the entrance to the Realm and head straight through two forest sections. The flowers you’re looking for are on the left side of the second forest section.

There are four singing flowers at this location, and the one you need to talk to to get the Bags of Discontented Seeds is the tall orange one. She’s only willing to give them to you if you help them sing again, so equip your trusty Royal Watering Can and use it to water the three smaller flowers around her.

Once you’re done watering them, the Bags of Discontented Seeds will appear on the ground right by you.

Find a mushroom who’s feeling blue for a Blue Mushroom in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The next ingredient is a Blue Mushroom, and you have to find a larger mushroom who’s feeling blue to get it. The mushroom who’s feeling blue is located near the entrance to the Alice in Wonderland Realm.

This special mushroom is on your left as soon as you approach the first path leading into the woods. It’s also fairly close to the crafting station and the cooking station you previously used to combine all ingredients for More Time.

Once you find the Blue Mushroom, you need to dress in something blue to cheer it up. Open the Wardrobe and filter by blue items to find something you can put on. Exit this menu, and the sad mushroom will cheer up and drop a Blue Mushroom for you to use.

Find the curious Pencil Bird for the Wonderland Plaque in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To get the next item, you need to track down the curious Pencil Bird so you can obtain the Wonderland Plaque from it. The Pencil Bird is perched on top of a tall stack of books on the pathway right by the entrance to the Wonderland Realm. From where you found the Blue Mushroom, head down the path slightly and look right to find it.

Interact with this strange creature once you locate it. The Pencil Bird has a series of questions for you to answer before it will give you the item you need. There are six questions in total, and getting any of them wrong forces you to restart the entire test.

How to make the Contrary Perfume in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Head back to the entrance to the Alice in Wonderland Realm so you can make the Contrary Perfume. There’s a crafting table near it by a cooking station and the sad blue mushroom from earlier on.

Interact with this station and switch to the Potion & Enchantment tab. Select the Contrary Perfume recipe followed by the craft option to make it. Once it’s done, you can get to work tackling the rest of the tricky Teeny, Tiny Problems quest.
